This Privacy Policy explains how Flirtly ("Flirtly", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Flirtly mobile application (the "App"). By using the App you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Who the App is for
Flirtly is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the App, contact us and we will delete the associated information.
2. Information we collect
Content you provide
- Conversation text and screenshots. When you ask Flirtly for a reply or a chat analysis, the text you paste or the screenshot you choose to share is processed to generate suggestions. Screenshots are read only when you actively trigger a suggestion (for example, via Back Tap or by selecting an image).
- Profile & style inputs. Onboarding answers (such as a first name or preferred style) and any sample messages you add to personalize your tone.
Usage and device information
- Basic app interaction data (features used, number of generations) needed to operate free-tier limits and improve the App.
- Technical data such as device model, operating-system version, and app version, used for compatibility and diagnostics.
Purchases
- Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment-card details. Subscription status (for example, whether you have an active PRO plan) is managed through our payments partner RevenueCat.
3. How we use information
- To generate reply suggestions, openers, coaching, and chat analysis.
- To personalize suggestions so they match your chosen tone and voice.
- To operate features, enforce free-tier limits, and manage subscriptions.
- To maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the App.
- To respond to your support requests.
4. AI processing and third parties
To create suggestions, the content you submit (message text and, when you choose, screenshots) is sent to third-party AI providers that operate the language and vision models powering Flirtly. This processing is used solely to return a suggestion to you. We do not sell your personal information.
We share limited information only with service providers that help us run the App:
- AI model providers — to generate replies and analyses from your input.
- RevenueCat — to manage and validate subscriptions.
- Apple — to process payments and deliver the App.
5. Where your data is stored
Your history, favorites, style samples, and settings are stored locally on your device. Content sent for AI processing is transmitted to generate a response and is not used by us to build an advertising profile of you. You can remove locally stored data at any time by clearing the App's data or deleting the App.
6. Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law. Because most of your content lives on your device, deleting the App removes that local data. Deleting the App does not automatically cancel a subscription — manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond as required by applicable law. We do not sell or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, through an in-App notice.
