This Privacy Policy explains how the “Tattoo AI” mobile application (the “App”), operated by Joppe Sabbe (“we”, “us”), handles information when you use it. By using the App you agree to this Policy. Tattoo AI does not require you to create an account and does not ask for your name.
1. Information we process
- Content you provide. The text prompts you type to generate a tattoo, the style and body area you select, and — only if you choose the “on my skin” preview — a photo you upload from your device.
- Purchase information. When you subscribe, your purchase and subscription status are handled by Apple; we receive only a non-personal “Pro / not Pro” status.
- Technical & usage data. Basic device and diagnostic information (e.g., app version, crash data) that may be collected by the platform or our service providers to keep the App working.
We do not collect your contacts, precise location, or browsing history, and we do not sell your personal data.
2. How we use information
- To generate the tattoo designs and body previews you request.
- To operate, maintain, secure and improve the App.
- To process and restore your subscription and unlock Pro features.
- To respond to your support or feedback requests.
3. Third-party services (processors)
To provide core features, limited data is shared with the following providers:
- AI image generation — kie.ai (and its file host “RedPanda”). Your text prompt and any photo you upload for a preview are sent to this provider to generate the requested image. Uploaded reference files are temporary and are deleted by the provider shortly after processing.
- Apple. Handles all payments and subscriptions (the App never sees your card details).
- RevenueCat. Manages subscription status/entitlements so the App knows whether Pro is active.
These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
4. Storage and retention
- Generated designs are stored locally on your device (in the App’s storage). You can delete any design in the App, or remove all of them by deleting the App.
- Uploaded photos are sent to the AI provider only to fulfill your request and are not stored on our own servers; the provider deletes reference uploads after a short period.
- We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
5. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where required). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
6. Your choices and rights
Because most data lives on your device, you can delete individual designs or all of them from the App, or uninstall the App, and manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings. Depending on your region (e.g., EEA/UK/California), you may have rights to access or delete personal data — contact us and we will assist.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, appropriate safeguards are applied.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page.
